Products

You can search products by their Name or Description.

Click "Add Product" to create a new product. You will input the following:

• Category
• Name
• Barcode
  • Use your barcode scanner to enter this field
• Price
• Inventory Warning
  • Choose if there will be a warning for when inventory gets low. Inputting "0" will notify when the product inventory reaches 0. Leave blank for no warning (rentals, memberships, or if you do not want to get an email)
• Settings
  • Favorite
    • Adds to the "Favorite" category
  • Taxable
    • Will this product add tax to the order?
  • Active
    • MAKE SURE THIS IS CHECKED
    • If this is not checked, employees will not see this product
  • Core
    • Adds a level of permissions to edit (permission labeled "Edit Core Products")
  • Rental
    • Is this a rentable product? This product will show up under the Check-In page
      • How long should the rental last?
      • Time Multiplier 
  • Membership
    • Is this a membership product? This product will show up under the Create Membership page
      • How long should the membership last? 
      • Time Multiplier
  • Restrictions 
    • Restricts to certain employees (only these employees can check this product out)
  • Payout
    • Is this product a payout (will make the price negative) For example: you are taking money out of your register to pay to a customer
  • Ask for price
    • If the price is set to $0 and this is enabled, you will get a popup when selecting this product to define its price on the order page
• Description
• Inventory Amount
  • Number of products in stock (0 will leave it as 0 in stock. Leave blank if there is no inventory like rentals and memberships)
• Inventory Par
  • How much should be in inventory? Leave blank if there is no inventory like rentals and memberships)

You will see a table view of all products (sorted by category). You can view the Products Name, Price, Inventory Warning, Descrption, Inventory, and Actions including Edit/Remove Product.
