E-Signed Waivers

If your system settings allow it and you have a Topaz Signature Pad installed on your computer, you can have members e-sign their waiver.

 

When prompted after creating a membership, adding a signature to an existing membership, or editing an existing membership, you will see a box pop up with the waiver. At the top, you will see some control buttons. The control buttons include

  • Begin
    • Start the Topaz Signature Pad capture function (allow for the member to sign)
  • Clear
    • Restart the Topaz Signature Pad (if the signature is not legible)
  • Upload
    • Finish signing and upload the signature.

 

The waiver will display some information at the bottom, including

  • Member Name
  • Member ID (system and membership ID)
  • Member DOB
  • Member State ID and Number
  • Timestamp
  • Employee Name

After the waiver is uploaded, it is saved as a PDF. This ensures that whatever they are singing is saved and can not be changed unless a new signature is obtained. 

 

You can view/download member's waivers from the Membership Page -> View Member. To obtain a new signature from the Membership Page -> Edit Member.

 

If you get an error saying "Unable to communicate with SigWeb. Please confirm that SigWeb is installed and running on this PC." You have incorrectly installed the Topaz Signature Pad. Download the SigWeb software from https://topazsystems.com/sdks/sigweb.html and ensure you have followed all installation instructions for your Topaz Signature Pad.
